REALTOR® members who last took NAR Code of Ethics between January 1, 2005 and December 31, 2008 are required to take it again between January 1, 2009 and December 31, 2010, i.e. once every quadrennial. to maintain REALTOR® membership. Non-members are welcome to take this course to learn the same ethical business practices that REALTORS® have been required to following for decades and apply them to your own day-to-day business practices. Learn the 17 articles comprising the Code, in what instances Vermont law overrides portions of it, and the REALTOR® disciplinary process for breaking the Code vs. the disciplinary process utilized by the Vermont Office of Professional Regulations for cases of unprofessional conduct. This course is approved for four (4) hours of continuing education by the Vermont real Estate Commission; this course does not count as the mandatory course for 2010 license renewal. That course is entitled "The Mandatory Course/2008-2010 License Renewal".
