As the largest professional trade association in the United States, the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) represents more than 1.3 million residential and commercial REALTORS® involved in all facets of the industry. NAR advocates policy initiatives that will result in the continued creation of a fundamentally sound and dynamic U.S. real estate market fostering vibrant communities in which to live and work.
As part of this ongoing effort, NAR hosts Midyear Legislative Meetings each May in Washington, DC. Here REALTOR® members from every state meet one-on-one with senators and representatives from their own states to assist NAR in making sure that the issues important to the real estate industry - and you individually - stay on the national radar screen.
